Your spreadsheets, converted. Formulas intact.
Excelite reads an existing Excel workbook and turns it into a secure, multi-user web application — sheets, formulas, formatting, validation and charts. You do not rebuild the logic. You upload the file.
.xlsx, .xlsm, .xltx and .xltm · encrypted workbooks supported with the password

Everything the workbook already does, on the web
Conversion is not a screenshot. The calculation engine re-evaluates your formulas server-side, so edits recalculate exactly as they would in Excel.
A real calculation engine
Dependency graph, cycle detection and iterative solving. LAMBDA, LET, INDIRECT, OFFSET and dynamic array spilling all evaluate — not just simple arithmetic.
Formatting that survives
Number formats, conditional formatting, data validation, merged ranges and tables are carried across and rendered faithfully.
Multi-user by default
Live cursors, presence and per-cell conflict resolution. Two people editing the same sheet see each other, and neither silently loses work.
Dashboards from your data
Imported charts are converted and new ones generated from tabular sheets, with server-side filtering and drill-down.
Security that is enforced
Argon2id passwords, TOTP two-factor, five roles with granular and range-scoped permissions, and an append-only audit log.
Export back out
Round-trip to .xlsx with formulas verbatim, or CSV and PDF. Anything a format cannot carry is declared, never silently dropped.
Three steps
- 01
Upload
Drop in an .xlsx file. Excelite validates it, decrypts it if you supply the password, and queues the conversion.
- 02
Review the report
Every conversion produces a compatibility report: formula fidelity, function coverage and anything that needed a fallback.
- 03
Share it
Invite your team with the right role. They get a live application, not a file attachment that immediately forks.
What Excelite does not do
A conversion tool that overstates itself wastes your time. These are the current limits, stated up front:
- VBA macros are not executed. Data and formulas convert; macros do not.
- A handful of chart types degrade to a close equivalent, and say so.
- Charts are not rebuilt into exported .xlsx files.
- Very large workbooks recalculate in the background rather than instantly.
Stop emailing spreadsheets around
Convert the workbook your team already relies on, and give everyone one live copy.
